I get a real Munsters vibe from Billy ^_~
I love how Donna has to make order from chaos.

Herman?
I rather thought he's something an alchemist has mixed from Jerry Lewis and Boris Karloff, hihihi...
Isn't he the coffee pimp, too?

@Kid: Donna is a vehicle for demonstrating certain things... see the "Whut" link

@AE: Billy is coming across a lot more sympathetic than I had originally intended... we'll see where his character arc takes him (during what little screen time his face he gets)

Observation # 1:
Naomi and Jen, Donna's two best friends, hate each other.
And it seems that this has not always been the case.
So, what happened?
Was Jane sorta like an important pin of which the removal caused everything to collapse??

Observation # 2:
Holy shit, Jen's boyfriend is Mr. Gretch's son??

1) Yeah, that's a concise and fairly accurate take on what happened.

2) I am unsure if he's the only child or if there were/are others in the Gretch family tree. But yeah, he and Jen have been a thing since high school (~5 years ago). There'll be consequences, I suppose.

Billy looks like the small-town/city boy who was pretty good playing linebacker in high school, but wasn't good enough to play college, so he signed up for a stint in the Army (strong back, weak mind) after HS graduation and mustered out at the end of his time, but he can't grow out of his HS football days, nor did his "edumacatation" prepare him for life post-football/Army, so his dad gave him a "job" in order to keep him from causing TOO many problems...

In other words, a better name for him would have been "Chet"...

@sig: oddly specific... pulled a bit from our own personal narrative, did we Chet?

Edit: All snark aside, replace "army" with "local area college" and that's him. Billy doesn't cause problems, but on the other hand he doesn't generate many solutions.

But essentially, who wants the pressure of a career when he's doing just fine banging the hottest Doyle girl ten times a week and hanging with his boys (online and off) the rest of the time? It's a good life.

eh, they have structural armor

America's changed a lot in the last three months and I have to "slingshot time" myself up to July/August 2020 to stay as relevant as I would like.
