Ouch. I feel bad for Don now. And especially for Donna, losing him too

Don is a fairly horrible human being, but he's still Donna's father. If she didn't feel for him, she'd be a monster, and I'm not in the business of writing cartoonist monsters edit: anymore

I feel bad for Naomi, too.

In her own way Naomi is just as much a grinder as Donna, Jen, or Maggie... so don't assume that her quest to land the big one is over!

Or, less vaguely: there are other Panks!

Yes, time to do some more hanky panky.

Ah, Donna worked for that movie studio.
So, she may not have done outright hardcore porn after all, but they do also have quite raunchy stuff in their portfolio...

And oof!
It's apparently the worst case scenario for poor Don, regarding the corona symptoms...

I gotta do some timeline comparisons, but it is entirely possible that Donna was in on the production of "that film", both as a production company intern... and maybe more.

ugh

We don't allow anyone into a hospital except for the patient up here. That could be one reason we're doing so well.
Naomi and Donna (and all whom they have had contact) better get checked.
Did Naomi and Don legally get hitched?

Yeah, I took some pretty severe liberties with the "sad family member looking through window at loved one" panel. I am guessing that would not be allowed/possible in most circumstances here either.

I will address Naomi and Donna and their major issues shortly. And maybe I should have kept my mouth shut because 'rona is now in my (usual) workspace as of this morning. I'm teleworking, so... we'll see.

Damn, Donna just can't catch a break.

She's tough, but she's got a heart.

Yeah...the people who think it's infringing on their rights to wear a mask...I cannot fathom what their mental damage is! It is a fucking mask! No one is asking for their right arm. I want to just line people up and do a "high five" style bitch slap across all their bare faces.

Watching Japanese sumo and shaking my head.

Something close to 1/3 the US's population packed into the space of California and yet the Japanese haven't had nearly the death toll as the US... and it's probably a preexisting cultural acceptance of masks that did it.

What interests me is many of the same people not wanting their individual freedom infringed by masks are also often the same infringing on others' individual freedom to be "xyz."

"one's value in the world is determined by how much you can determine others' value"

It's time for us Americans to get big again: instead of measuring our strength by excluding folks from our comfy little bubble, how about we measure our strength by how far we can extend said bubble?

If [fill in the name of any demographic] is so convinced of the wonderfulness of how they live, then shouldn't they be utterly unafraid of openly championing their lifestyle and showing how good it is, instead of spending all their energy undercutting others? That's what kills me about vote suppression, if your side's vision of how things should be is so spectacular, then what's to fear?

OK, enough retroactive ranting. Be well.
