But if they don't stay in the grid square you're fucked.

Hey now!Don't be applying logic to the sexy hard sell.

Hey that raises a good question - now that even Non-state actors can load a drone with HE and conduct cross border air strikes, I wonder if they’ll bring the barrage balloon back?
lirvilas 25th Aug 2020, 8:43 AM edit delete reply
with my neighbor flying drones over my house, I'm inclined to set up barrage balloons

And that's how the durgible become a thing again...

I haven't decided if they're using hydrogen in these

I mean, they're unmanned and you don't want them falling into enemy hands, why the hell not?
hanmerhack 25th Aug 2020, 7:39 AM edit delete reply
A Company has been using Unmanned dirigibles to bring supplies to remote northern villages. There faster and cheaper then trucking them in
lirvilas 25th Aug 2020, 8:44 AM edit delete reply
see, that's an actual useful application of these things

as opposed to being the backdrop of what looks like a Whitesnake video

Sex sells. Logic need not apply. Possibly Donna's work mantra?
lirvilas 25th Aug 2020, 9:39 AM edit delete reply
Brashly put, but true.

If you aren't tapping into people's values and the emotions they elicit, then you aren't really making the sale... the customer will back out/ghost on you at the worst time possible.

There's whole libraries of writing on this topic... and it is more than a little of the inspiration behind Grinder$
sigpig 25th Aug 2020, 2:42 PM edit delete reply
How many more "grind" puns are you going to incorporate? We have "the daily grind" (NOT the coffee shoppe) of working in a cubicle, grinding coffee at the REAL coffee shpoppe, and "bump-and-grind" with amoral strippers?

Flyover Country was a good name, but the story and the title didn't click, a fact that enrages me to this day. Additionally, I've been torn on the two Cryptida spinoffs' titles, they're good, but ... well, we'll see with Playground.

But when I was working out this comic's concept and title, Argylefox insisted that Grinder$ was by far the best concept/name because of the multiple (and dirty) meanings.

He was right.

I decided to try my hand on a MARSEC dirigible add too, going in a completely different direction... ;-)

(That's the also the first time I attempted to draw Donna!)

Something, something..."Mile High Club"... something...

@Micro: awesome fan art! Thank you! I'll post it in these author comments somewhere down the line.

@sig: again, making it easy for future dirty pics

Thank you guys, this comments section is a friggin' compost heap and I mean that in the best possible way: pile up enough stuff and it cooks into fertilizer for future pages!

I'm willing to bet the M/OQ-69 technical instruction video has Donna or Jen caressing the grenade launching mechanism.

This is the most American advertisement ever, read into that how you will

Though I might be rightfully accused of some level of plagiarism, Tony Stark in Iron Man 1 and 2 is closer to that ideal.

In my defense the girls are selling a pretty shitty product.

*something something BLIMPS something something airbags something something*

I'm bad at this XD

I LOVE the colors on this one :3
lirvilas 19th Nov 2020, 10:47 AM edit delete reply
this page was such a bad, bad idea

I've got other artists trashing me over it now (Stilldown's attack strips are even meaner)

BUT at least the colors are good!
BlueDragon 19th Nov 2020, 2:13 PM edit delete reply
Oh, I was more making a joke about bewbs, without saying bewbs XD XD

Honestly, did not know the difference between a blimp and a zeppelin (although I dig a little Led for my head XD).

No street corner talkin' trash here XD (Although, you could consider those comics free advertising. What's it they say? Any publicity is good publicity?)

you mean the totally not-mobile weapons platform that just kinda hangs over the desert and collects annoying numbers of AK rounds from pissed-off dirt farmers?

or were you talking about the slick sales pitch?
