Dang near 200 pages in we're finally at the premise this comic advertised back in February.
Flash forward. Or maybe merely the regular sort of forward. Here at Grinder$ (and the Lirverse in general) we operate on "slingshot time"* which is working in real time but getting hung up on shit. Probably sounds familiar...
The events in the last three story lines in my comic have happened over a period of about two weeks. Which I started drawing over two years ago in real time. Linear time is not exactly compatible with sequential story telling.
I think the closest one can realistically get to "realtime" that I've seen is daily newspaper strips i.e. Doonesbury. Manga artists also can punch 'em out pretty fast. So I would say it can be done, but obviously pointing out professionals who pay their rent off of their work is disingenuous to the average webcomic hobbyist.
help me out here, man
I gotta suck it up and put in some study, this is the second "same face" issue in less than a month.
