Being a cheerleader of modest means (except for a depraved and twice divorced father), "Bikini Barista" was #3 on Donna's likely career choices; the first two options were a lot... less nice.

"Sledgehammer" - Peter Gabriel. Or, when I am in an especially foul mood & need to fantasize about dark deeds to feel better: "Do the Evolution" - Pearl Jam.

"We Love You" by the Rolling Stones in my teens (It was an old song already back then),
later "Be Forewarned" by Pentagram.
Sometimes "Twoheaded Dog" by Roky Erickson.

Twoheaded Dog by Roky Erickson

I'm not going to pretend that I've got any sort of stylish or erudite taste in music, but I appreciate your comment finally getting me off my ass and listening to Roky Erickson.

We must not not forget Roky Erickson.

PS: I think the best version of "Two headed Dog" was the single version on Mars.

The entire album Albion Doo-Wah by Cat Mother And The All-Night Newsboys. No matter how down I feel, by the time the last song ends, my head is right where I want it to be.

Yay! Thanks. I almost always get the 'insert video' thing wrong, and I'm generally too lazy to even link to a specific YouTube vid.

These are the first song i ever sang at karaoke & mine and my best friend's official "zombie killing song, should the Horror Movie Apocalypse actually happen", respectively.

Neither fails to lift my spirits when I need it.

Oddly enough, Van Halen's "Jump" was the SECOND song I ever sang at karaoke!

I've dabbled in VH before, but Eddie's recent death was a giant reminder to appreciate what you have while you have it.

Fuck 2020.

edit: the insert video thing is disabled for comment sections, not really sure why Kyo did that
