Better Grinders than Starbucks, I guess.
So long as the coffee itself is up to par.
Even hotties in bikinis (or other sexy outfits) isn't really worth the effort if the joe is substandard.
I don't think it's been brought up before, has it/
How good IS the coffee?!
@RB: after some thought, they use Hawaiian beans, nominally from Kona on the Big Island. However, I'll bet they cut corners and use that shit from Kauai that made me to a spit-take. I mean, these dudes are based in Indianapolis, "Hawaii" is more an idea than a place.
We have plexiglass dividers caulked over top of the takeout windows, covering them up by half. We take this COVID shit seriously up here, without all the political "masks vs freedom" bullshit. We listen to our doctors' advice and actually pay attention to science.
Speaking of "by half", I hope things are going peacefully where you and friends/family live. I know that you are fiercely loyal to your country, but you can certainly take a step outside and see why "foreigners" like myself cannot wrap our heads around the completely antiquated and corrupt method of electing your candidates. There are literally FIFTY-ONE DIFFERENT methods of voting and tabulating laws in your domestic states alone, never mind the US territories that actually matter diddly-squat to the overall picture. Please, if you have time, take a few minutes to explore the mandate of Elections Canada. It has a 100-year history of running elections in every Federal, Provincial, Territorial, and Municipal elections by-the-book (and it's an extremely...thorough...book).
FWIW, your country desperately needs a third political party. I mean, OUR Conservative Party of Canada would be slightly LEFT of your Democrats, to tell you the truth...
I agree with everything you've said, though I'd add that ranked choice voting is necessary before third parties can be viable here. (Without significantly more invasive changes.) There are many reforms that would greatly improve the application of democracy to my troubled American people.
Glad things are finally tracking today where I don't have to you know resign something in order to keep my conscience clear.
There's a bikini barista chain in WA. When I was living there, one of the machines exploded in one of the huts and burned a barista to death.
So, yeah, Donna, get out from the shack and into the shack's corporate trailer.
we'll see
