So I'm looking up Bible verses on the topic of "taking the Lord's name in vain" and I find this one:
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. -Proverbs 18:21
Considering the author's uh predilections this is a particularly fitting passage, maybe not for this page, but elsewhere. Anyway, make sure you study your Bible tonight, because:
The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose -Merchant of Venice
sure hope Donna doesn't spontaneously combust next page
Oh...oh! Are we gonna see gonna see some cameos!? :3
Edit: oh, I'm getting vibes there may be SEVERAL reasons Anya wants this shop. Sounds like it could be a cover up for something bigger ;)
Edit Edit: Hot damn! Quoting the Bible AND Shakespeare in the same comment (although...we're pretty certain Will worked on the St. James version, presumably with other popular writers of the time).
XD XD Well, I'm sure I'll be wrong, but I'll send ya a message.
For the last few years I've picked it up again to make sure I'm at least falling in line with my interpretation. There's a lot good sh*t many people who *ahem* say they are followers tend to fight against and fly right in the face of (not gonna go on a religious rant).
But yeah, I mean, I also like to read other people's religious texts, too, just so I have an idea of where they're coming from (and uh...my ass is gonna need to be re-reading the Vedas and the Ramayana before my own stuff is said and done...not that I'm interpreting an other's religion, but I'll need to know it for later locals).
I wonder who lives there...
Or, in other words: Will we soon re-meet a certain ex-nun...?
BRACE FOR IMPACT
who gets out of bed for "easy"?

"a worthy opponent approaches"

Drop me a PM with your predictions on Anya's motives. I PROMISE I will
notsteal them.I wish I knew more Scripture, and I'm glad I live in the age of Google. Regardless of one's beliefs, there is much beautiful language in that Book.
