It would probably be a Netflix, Amazon, or Apple TV+ streamed series, like the did with "American Gods" and "Good Omens". Heck, they're making a series about Asimov's "Foundation" series...
Having not read any of the "Sandman" comics and their spin-offs, I actually enjoy watching Lucifer.
If you want atrocities of SF classics being made into movies, I present "Starship Troopers" and "The Puppet Masters" as Exhibits A and B...
@Sinch: holy crap they made those into TV shows?! man I have been gone from pop culture a long time
@Sig: the memory of starship troopers makes me want to simultaneously vomit and defecate, that is perhaps the most insulting adaptation of a book I've ever encountered, and I don't even like the book that much. Also: pony up the cash or your library card and read Sandman. It's spectacular.
I recommend the Sandman comics, they're pretty thought-provoking reads. There are times where Gaiman knows he's writing something really good so they occasionally come off a little smug, but you're hardly ever going to put down an issue and not go, "dang... I gotta think about this for a while"
(Ever hear of the Eschaton Choir? Yeah, I came up with those and did all the design sketches)
I think the financial director has issues.
SERIOUS issues!
How are the husband and the kid?
:-D
he might be lurking somewhere around here

and yes, it certainly did not go very well
(I wonder when they're making the movie?)

Lucifer is on Netflix, although the writing seems to have dropped in quality the past two seasons.
Hm...me thinks she doesn't like Donna XD
