Except for those weirdos, at least one very-very nice person asked for her once. And Psycho-Ginger can still bribe me to do a little-little surprise call in that church if she wants to come straight with the wafer-licking bollock-devotchka.
We'll probably hold off on formally introducing Chuck (and his capabilities) for a while, if ever. Gotta keep these comics "self-contained" and avoid being overly self-referential, apparently. This was a criticism from Flyover Country, and while I'm obviously in some disagreement with the purveyor of said advice I can understand their perspective.
I made it through Flyover Country with only a few short excursions to the other comics, IMO its pretty well self contained, The story is so chaotic (in a Blues Brothers type manner, not badly written chaotic) you just go with the flow. I probably wouldn't have thought to check the other comics if you hadn't mentioned them.
I think its more something that someone who's already familiar with the comics would notice. And some people just need a characters backstory and motivations presented on a plate
Damn you, you got me thinking all last night.
A close-up of her headstone would make the perfect opening panel for your next comic. With snowflakes falling, because OF COURSE it's snowing in Wisconsin.
The trope of "who's showing up at the funeral and in what manner?" almost writes itself...
Hello Chuck. Glad to see you vertical. When you see Donna see if you can convenience her to put up a Stage with a Brass Pole in the parking lot. I know all your favorite places have at least one.
MJ Stonecastle and Chuck Braun are the tip of its friggin' iceberg
(Hope Haute Coffee's fire insurance is paid up! And by that, I mean high caliber weapons fire!)

that's high praise indeed, considering the entirety of that comic was made drunk and on the fly
Maureen Zehm (I think I got it right - it's been a while since we have seen her, Sam, or Trinity)...
