Oooh yes, backstory flashback for Chuck!!

I especially like how you incorporated the "selling car to a nun" throwaway line!
That was either excellent long term planning, or excellent recognizing in hindsight where a connection can fit in! (I always like to call this way of plot point generation a "retroactive Chekhov's gun".)

Well Chuck was innocent for a moment.

it's fortunate that he didn't get all fucked up by these experiences

that would be tragic

man I hate backstories like that

Pfft, I think the wafer-licker-sheperd wants to put his spoon in the cup, spank me.

PS: But I think he prefers those cups with a handle, as guys in his trade do.

It was Kansas City. I was bored.

one of my vices is climbing down the self-referential ladder into an underground bunker of naughty art forum posts, 30 Days of Characters entries, and obscure "one time I talked to Prof about this" PMs

it's fun for like ten people here, but in general I know it's not something that endears me to the casual reader

TL;DR: back to the butt jokes

in spanish you must said:

"¿lo entiendes?"
"hay bien escondido en la gente sórdida"
"father, this deal..."
"haz el trato, M.J."

that´s, the correct way
