I'm still not able to tell if Carol Anne is utterly oblivious, or, more savvy and cavalier than one would suspect at first glance!
She's a tough character to determine right now... I've got probably a hundred lines of her potential dialogue in my notes and I'd be surprised if I use more than a handful of them.
I can't tell if Carol Anne is dumb, drunk, or pulling a con of some kind. As the wife of a business man, she could be more savvy to the hustle than we think.
Also: DANG, she got a rockin' body for someone with three kids. She must do cardio
Also, what time is it? It looks like it's still daylight out o_O (but if it's summer...yeah, maybe they actually put the kids to bed at a reasonable time XD)
Huh... I can imagine some negative opinions, especially when considering the first pages... But it has a story that unfolds slowly and "What are the odds" is pretty much the in-your-face motto from begin on. Haven't looked for some years so I don't know where it is now.
