ha ha look who's back

if Maggie Ashton was a mechanic, you'd take your Civic in for an oil change and come out with a racing transmission and a nitrous system

EDIT: I have a number of prior commitments that I must work on before I can land more of these pages. Rest assured that there will be a new Grinder$ page no later than 1 June.

At least she didn't say, "Oh, you're not really hearing voices, it's nothing..."

I had a dude at my workplace who was getting panic attacks and an irregular, fast pulse... when the docs found a growth on one of his adrenal glands, he was relieved.

Sometimes the explanation, no matter how awful, is welcomed because it removes uncertainty.

I agree with your friend.
It is something that can be fixed with medicine or surgery, rather than having to go to a therapist and talk about your thoughts&feelings for the rest of your life.

Voices?
That's fine.

Wait until you start feeling sensations!

That’s true, I’ve noticed. A mysterious pain hurts less once you get an explanation.

my problem is that none of my pains are mysterious!

Tried to look up if "TJ" ever had any line of dialogue before.
(Besides this borderline example, if you count what's in author comments.)

Yielded no positive results.
(It was just a quick search, so I still don't rule out that such an instance indeed exists.)

However, I found this page - highly relevant, given the place and that one certain other character besides TJ!

Ha, yes! I knew it!!

Also another observation: Could just be art evolution, but of course it makes a lot of sense that the coma caused her to loose a lot of muscle mass compared to back then.

I am sure she installed a hypnopaedia reciever into her, doing endless loops at night like "I'm really awfully glad I work for Dr. Ashton-Smith because I don’t work so hard as in the coffee shack. I love to work at the laboratory."

some people would step back and question themselves, reexamine their assumptions

the Doyles aren't those people

Oh. My. Stars. And. Garters.

I never thought you would pull the trigger on bringing her back.

Wow...
