While I'm certainly enjoying the view, this story pivoted so suddenly I'm feeling the need for a neck brace. It seems like there were a couple intermediary story steps skipped between the previous page and this one; I'm not quite seeing how we got from Point A to Point B, or why? Was this a case of fast-forwarding past Donna being arrested by the General, processed into a holding facility, then escaping, or is this a pre-emptive move by Donna to, in quintessential Panks fashion, seduce her way out of being arrested? I envy future readers who won't have to wait for explanatory details in the next page.
hey man, thanks for the expansive comment! yes yes yes I make this trash on the fly, so sometimes I reach for the easy cheesecake when I'm too bored/distracted/a jackass to stick with clear continuity. but generally speaking I try to avoid flashbacks, I think they're overused. Hope the next page answers your questions, ha ha ha
either that or Uber has been getting classier (I know which one is happening lol)
If he ever plays more than an incidental role, I'll be sure to have a proper introduction. I've taken punches to the face before for having too much reliance on my previous works. That is part of the reasoning for the new set of characters in this comic.
also how much you wanna bet that Donna's loss of wardrobe is so routine that nobody even brings it upI mean, bodies are bodies, but god damn
Eric must have quite the deja vu right now...
oh you meant someone else
