am I the only one who thinks that particular bedroom moniker is more than a little fucked up?

edit: the voting incentive has changed to this month's "Donna Doll"

So let me guess: Donna owes her very existence due to Don losing that game of Russian Roulette he kept playing with his semen?

I already hated Don and this isn't helping. Yikes. And yeah the daddy moniker just squicks me out so much.

And you wonder why this man’s children shun him in his twilight years

This is not the direction this chapter was supposed to take

But perhaps we’ll see why Donna is the exception

There is a way to change the terms of their relationship

Yeah you damn well know what happens next

Yeah but it could change the terms either way… I could see this swine making like in the Fall Guy and run like hell…

Plot twist - the Pankses and Doyles ALSO share recent common ancestry. Could be a reason why Donna is so darned protective of them...
I can see the Anvil Flats population as having three main surnames (Panks, Doyle, Graetch), with the other ones coming from "away"...

The Doyles are the main Anvil Flats family, everybody else ends up intermarrying with them. The Gretches are in that process, the Panks family (as in Don's first family), well we'll see just who they are in a few pages. But yeah, they're all related in the worst small town kinda way.

Donna's protective of the Doyles because of her school friendship with Jane Doyle, plain and simple.

Actually, no, you're not the only one who thinks "daddy" and "mama" are weird o_O Like, I love 60s music, but there's a couple that while I like them, they creep me out. Like Led Zeppelin says "mama" a lot, and there's a Fleetwood Mac song "Daddy" that would be an okay song, but I just can't get over it.

Not sure where or when that started. My grandparents called each other Mom and Dad when talking to the kids...and my mom was always "Sissy" (like, sister, I think like how guys were sometimes called "sonny" or "brother"). I'm just making conjectures...

It's kind of a weird artifact from another time that I wish we'd leave to the annals of history o_O

...

This has little to do with your comic page, but your comment got me thinking XD

"Ay, Papi!" is another one that has me shaking my head

I should really hold off on the judgment, considering the stuff I put out here
