You sneak that Mug in for me?

Helps when you own the Coffee Shack on the way to work.

re: the mug

I mean, I could justify it and say that Don's an automotive kinda guy blah blah blah

but yes, that's entirely due to your influence

The Folger's commercial was wrong about the "best part of waking up".

(Still can't get over Naomi being Donna's stepmom now)

man, is Folgers even a thing anymore?

(he says as he's drinking Folger's instant coffee--vacations, man!)

With apologies to Dune:

It is by caffiene alone that I set my mind in motion
By beans of java, my thoughts acquire speed
The hands acquire shakes,
The shakes become a warning
It is by caffeine along that I set my mind in motion

I'm guessing that Donna doesn't see her "mother"-in-law under the table, which I'm sure would have changed part of her response significantly. :D

you know how combatants have to put on mental blinders for the horrors they see in combat so that they may survive said combat?

yeah...

Aha, that is a very potent example you're providing and I'm glad I've never had to attempt putting on mental blinders like combatants OR Donna. Poor gal, she really needs to get them out of the same house as her, either that or get an apartment or something so she has somewhere "safe" to escape their vicious behavior. Honestly, I can't respect either Don or Naomi for this kind of behavior.

KA-RIIIINNNNNGE-WORTHY!!!
Poor Donna! No one should have to endure the sight of their aged dad getting blown at the breakfast table - PARTICULARLY before they've had their OWN morning coffee.
"Scarred For Life" doesn't just start during your formative years, y'know!

Sometimes, I think Naomi & Don do this crap on purpose to break Donna's spirit.
She should get revenge with a 6-pack of her own playmates - in Don & Naomi's marital bed.

I fought with the dialogue on this one for a while, the alternate text was something on the order of "I'm not going to react, because I know you fucking get off on my outrage"

but I didn't think that was as funny. Maybe I'm wrong
