This gives me a really bad idea...

Also that is a nice hi-res Chuck in that panel, very clean.

Chuck could take a bath for days and he'd never be clean

Well, at least the illusion is there as long as you don't look for longer than .2 seconds

Not as a secretary, Donna…

yeah, it's worse

she's customer service

I can see Donna providing highly kinetic answers to issues that can't be handled through normal means. I don't know if it would eliminate the source of the problems [aside from a few heart attacks brought on by happy overexertion]. Are there group rates?

I think you’re right; nor as a Secretary!

I suppose the woman next to Chuck is Sonja?
Has been half an eternity since we last saw her!

(Also, I wonder if Gus wants Donna to put on a thick Russian accent when she takes those calls...)

yeah there's a special prize at the end of a comic that's *not* readily visible that's the most recent rendition of Eric's lost love

See entry #26: https://www.dictionary.com/browse/field

She is not to pick up the phone and talk to customers, it's to ADDRESS their needs. She doesn't know it yet, but Donna's just been put in charge of the "highly-kinetic security" section.

In other words, she's probably gonna command "Marsec's Mercs"...

While it would be hilarious to see Donna's idea of paramilitary leadership, I think that would be couple bridges too far for ol' Gus.

I'm thinking more like logistics and administration (nothing traceable), schedulling, assigning the correct teams to the correct jobs, running local/international interferance - all the things a good Executive Officer has to do in order for the Captain (using Navy terms here) to COMMAND his/her ship without being bothered by the "little things" that happen in the normal day-to-day operations.
Does the Captain NEED to know the price increase of potatoes at a particular port? No, he just relies upon his Exec (and the rest of the Officers and crew) to budget appropriately and find savings elsewhere.

I know this won't happen, but maybe Gus is going to try and load Donna with so much work, that she won't have any TIME to take part in her shenanigans...

your thinking would be correct

think "real estate agent" except for ex-SpecOps and the paranoid billionaires who want to hire them

probably getting spoilery here, but [eh, shut up and just tell the story Lirv]

That's not far off from the typical operation of the modern PMC organization.
