Well, early dry cleaning was done with gasoline, so there's that!

you learn something every day! I appreciate the chemical trivia

It was such dangerous problem that they had to release a short subject film back in the 1940s, warning people not to do their own dry cleaning at home!
Rifftrax later got a hold of it. https://youtu.be/JirQCaZ_6Xg

Pfffft, so Howard Hughes was just careless?

And with that, Jen then knew how Donna got Tyler to stop ...

I think we're all making a few overly broad assumptions here

And so started a new Round Robin Competition in the Company to be Donna's Chair.

I was thinking of the DRESS making the rounds, and not the "seat"...
Microraptor 21st Jan 2022, 1:18 PM edit delete reply
Right call, Jen.
No matter how often and how thoroughly you wash it, this dress will never feel clean again...
lirvilas 21st Jan 2022, 10:03 PM edit delete reply
the thing is, she's lent Donna clothes before, so maybe it's Tyler that makes it a bridge too far
sigpig 21st Jan 2022, 2:09 PM edit delete reply
Wash it in fire.
lirvilas 21st Jan 2022, 2:28 PM edit delete reply
Which was Jen’s first instinct!
BlueDragon 1st Jun 2022, 10:25 PM edit delete reply
XD Donna wears it well.

I also wouldn't touch that dress again after that D:

I legit need to find some more nice patterns for Jen's dresses, I'm running out
BlueDragon 2nd Jun 2022, 1:16 AM edit delete reply
I don't know if I have any "nice" patterns, but if you find anything here you want to use, have at it. As the thread says, I don't need credit (I just make 'em and don't want them to go to waste. I have a few I need to add to the thread).

I need to bookmark this stuff. Case in point, that 90’s pattern is begging to be on some swimwear, it’s very fun.

If you like something, use it as you please XD They aren't great, but I'm kinda getting a little better as the years slog by XD
