Since Eric was hanging around Anvil Flats in his guise as an Uber driver, he probably had some kind of intelligence gathering scheme working either inside Marsec or the Air Base. So having Ingi step in to cover it while he's in Ukriane does make sense.

Huh, hadn’t thought of that

Was mainly thinking about who looked better in a bikini

That's one way to get in the door...

The other is to ram it with a Crown Vic

Don’t believe Microraptor, everything in Playground is a lie. Unreliable narrator and all that.

If name dropping gets it done, I say go for it. Besides, that resume probably considered average for these times.

Stellar resumes just mean stellar lies!

Oooh, playing the Jane card, that's a clever angle!

I'd imagine though Ingi might try to remain rather hazy with details when asked - it's better to avoid traumatizing your new boss by telling her how you were an eye-witness to her former best friend's suicide....

Ingi… is not going to be the most forthcoming about anything about Jane.

Or more clearly: stand by for Russia-level revisionism and gaslighting, and make sure you have saved backups of Playground.

It took me a bit, because I didn't see an elephant hair-pin, but I can see that it is indeed Ingi.

Why hire convicted felons when you can hire unconvicted felons?

Yay nepotism?
