now now we won't be having too much reanimation for deeply perverted nefarious purposes this chapter

Huh, I was expecting the MiB's to be the ones to take Donna out to the cornfield...

I perceive a note of frustration in your comment

as someone only a couple generations removed from the family farm, I feel your pain

how about we just let the goddamn crops grow?!

I'm on a different tack than the rest of you.

I think Gus is simply looking for privacy - away from his various minions, and with SOME degree of protection from electronic recording.

Walking through a cornfiled without heels might be more difficult. Reminds me of a story that happened to some friend of my sis.

As far as I recall the girl was hitiching a ride back to her village from a disco, and a young guy stopped and took her along. In the car, she took of her high heels to recover her feet. The driver was speeding, maybe to impress her, but suddenly realized he was followed by a policecar, speeding even more until he crashed. He jumped out of the car and hid in a cornfield, and the girl did instintivly the same. Nevertheless, the policemen captured the driver and took him away. The girl didn't dare to get back to the crashed car to get her shoes, so she had to walk barefoot through the night over the stubblefields for some miles to get back home. I always thought of using that story for a comic once, but never did.

That guy on the last panel either just has a fucked up sense of humor or he needs to see a therapist.
