Here's one:
Our boss let the bus boys with a hippie band perform at the restaurant some weekends--He'd work late serving just snacks (and he was no spring chicken) fries and fried food, and we would turn all the lights off and have a few candles around and shit around so we could see...then collected all the tips and just split them between the waitresses that stayed late XD (The band had their own tip jar.) It was so fun. Great first job, but obviously...stressful (I cared too much about people's opinions...especially back then.)
Ziyad is one the best bosses I've had (I've actually been very fortunate with great bosses...only had a handful of bad ones...and I left those joints. I'm not putting up w/ shit XD I'd go hungry before that.)
