Ha ha ha, thanks for your takes on the "gross customer/snarky barista" comedy set piece!

Anyway, here we go back to Donna's problems...

Lol I'll bet they are...
lirvilas 14th Jun 2020, 7:59 PM edit delete reply
apparently this is a semi-recurring issue

"SEMI-recurring" and the Teamsters?

Also, if Cher can straddle a 16" Naval gun, then I guess Lana can ride a drone naked, twirling her cowboy hat over her head just like Slim Pickins...

I mean, don't we all have employees like that?

I mean, hypothetically

re: that other thing, at least Slim Pickins did that semi deliberately

and since when did anyone expect a fucking B-52 to be able to outrun Soviet air defenses?!? that thing is a frickin' truck

IIRC, the height of Soviet air defence tech back then was the MiG-17 - a poorly-make F=86 Sabre knockoff. They could either carry fuel or munitions, and probably couldn't catch up to a BUFF without being vectored to it.

Can't have them getting too excited. They might loose control of a Truck.

I have a feeling that the Teamsters come across as a lot more badass than they actually are

Hey, this beats the hell out of watching Irma from Accounting spitting up green chunks in between Marlboro Reds

Those teamsters all have dirty minds. My first thought was rather that Donna is dozing off...

A completely different interesting detail: That buildings sign says MARSEC now.
So... is Donna's (top level) boss now indeed Augustus Alexander, or did the fallout of Elliot's death cause a balkanization of all the MAERC assets right there in the Industrial Park, and Donna did in fact not end up in that specific successor company...?
lirvilas 15th Jun 2020, 9:19 PM edit delete reply
you are correct! Donna now works for Team Alexander, and that's probably the genesis of some pages down the road (after this chapter) as she is forced to work through some "corporate branding" issues. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Mr. Alexander doesn't like his sales reps browbeating folks into buying his products.

Everybody in Anvil Flats still knows the place as "Maerc", though. Maybe there's some history there, maybe there was a munitions factory even before Maerc? TBD.

She just can't catch a break.

Nice job, Tyler, wearing your mask correctly XD
